Solomon M. Boren
Solomon M. Boren, stock-dealer, was born in New Garden Township, Wayne Co., Ind., March 21, 1858, the second son of T. E. and Louisa (Thomas) Boren. His education was received in the common schools. He early in life began to assist his father, and on reaching his majority engaged in business with him. He was married Dec. 27, 1881, to Lillie Bowen, a daughter of James and Marietta Bowen, of Randolph County, Ind. They have had two children (twins) — Blanche May and Harry M. The latter died at the age of three months and seventeen days.
