“History of Washington and Ozaukee Counties, Wisconsin,” published in 1881 by Western Historical Company. Charles Dreher, cigar manufacturer, Hartford; he is the son of Dennis and Catharine (Wintle) Dreher; was born in Milwaukee March 6, 1859; when 8 years of age, came to Washington Co., village of Fillmore, and, when 14 years old, began learning the trade of cigar-making with his brothers, and continued in their employ till June, 1880, when he came to Hartford and commenced in his present business. He was married, Oct. 12, 1880, at Belgium, Ozaukee Co., to Miss Marinana Hubing, daughter of Anton and Christiana Hubing. Mrs. Dreher was born in Ozaukee Co.
